Did you know in America, in most of the counties the majority of the population is of German descent? I didn't and I was stunned when I read that on Wikipedia.
Honestly, I was expecting people if English descent to be the majority ... I mean English is the official language in the U.S. and not German, right?
This means there could be more people of Germanic descent in America, than there are in Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein). How weird is that?
Is it weirder than a State with 60% hispanic population and an Austrian governor? :)))))
